Ivy grows with intention — it finds a surface and commits to it entirely, sending out tendrils in every direction, each one curling back toward the center as though reconsidering, then reaching further still. This is the logic the goldsmith followed here.

The frame of these earrings grows the way ivy grows. Gold leaves spread from a central scrollwork that has no clear beginning, each curve continuing into the next with the particular confidence of something that has always known where it was going. The amethyst sits where the vine decided to pause, held in place by the natural gathering of growth around it. Two diamonds accompany it, one above and one below, present without competing.

The gold you choose changes the character of the piece entirely. Yellow gold pulls the violet of the amethyst toward something warm and autumnal. Rose gold softens it into something more intimate, almost floral. White gold sharpens the contrast, the purple standing cooler and more singular against the metal.
